We have an exciting opportunity to cover the maternity leave of our International Coordinator (IC) at the International Secretariat of SCI, in Antwerp, Belgium. The duration of the contract is fixed term, preferably starting no later than February 1st 2017 until the current International Coordinator ends maternity leave (minimum until end of August 2016), with possible prolongation. Our SCI delegate attended the The European Youth Forum’s General Assembly in Varna, Bulgaria last week, during which workshops, elections (President, Vice-Presidents, Board Members, Financial Control Commission) and discussions on the future of Europe took place. The host of the meeting "youth capital Varna" organized a spectacular opening ending in the announcement of the jury decision for the European youth capital 2019: Novi Sad! This year’s Social Inclusion work of SCI continues with the project “Erasmus for All, Erasmus for Inclusion”, funded by the Erasmus+ program, which currently gathers 14 coordinators and activists of the Youth and Unemployment Working Group to evaluate the season of Inclusion 2016, to work on improvement of tools, methods and practices, to elaborate on new possible opportunities for cooperation on the topic of inclusion.

Today, 17th of November the project officer Alena and EVS Suvi from IS SCI are leaving for Budapest where they are going to participate from 18th to 21th of November  to the preparatory meeting of PATH project.

Today, the steering team of our big international project Global Volunteer Action met in Antwerp to evaluate and celebrate the amazing activities that have taken place since March 2015. The project, supported Erasmus+ KA2, has focused on networking, capacity building, non-formal education and innovation in international youth and volunteer work and has helped to better connect SCI branches in Europe and Asia. A big thank you to the team or all their hard work and passion!
