When in October last year I was informed that I was accepted for an EVS project in Switzerland, my family and I could not believe it, because I dreamed about it for such a long time. For half a year I didn’t give up trying to find the perfect EVS project and, soon, it will be 3 months as I am a Placement Officer in SCI Switzerland, yay!

I am lucky to work with the best team ever. Despite the pandemic and all sorts of restrictions connected with it, such as obligatory home office and the closure of almost all establishments with a few exceptions, I feel very strong support from my team. I know that I can contact any team member with any question and I will definitely get help.

I am so happy that I managed to find a project with the direction I initially really wanted, namely the coordination of volunteer mobility. Every day I learn something new about the work of an NGO. I am very grateful for the trust I was given and really hope that I will be able to apply this knowledge in my future.
