Criteria
The Pierre Cérésole Awards have specific criteria for submissions. Firstly, entries should be limited to a maximum duration of ten minutes. The eligible content is diverse, ranging from projects and campaigns to partnerships, noteworthy achievements by branches, and outstanding individuals. However, it is important to note that the submitted material must receive approval from the International Executive Committee. Submissions are open to all members of the SCI movement, including branches, group members, working groups, and activists. Additionally, each submission must be accompanied by a concise explanation and a background story to provide context and insight into the project or achievement.
Award ceremony
The award ceremony takes place during the International Committee Meeting, which is held annually in December, and it serves as the official platform to honor SCI outstanding achievement in promoting peace.

Zimbabwe Workcamps Association
Congratulations to Zimbabwe Workcamps Association for winning the Pierre Cérésole Award for Environment! Their project “African peace caravan” traced the roots of international voluntary service! This incredible initiative started in Tanzania, moved to Zimbabwe, and concluded in South Africa. No More War Working Group
Congratulations to No More War Working Group for winning the Pierre Cérésole Award for Promotion of SCI’s Values and History! Their project Not Your Soldier created a safe and vital space for young people to have their voices heard. While discussions on military conscription often exclude those most affected, this initiative empowered youth to engage, share, and reflect on these pressing issues. Truly inspiring work that puts young people at the center of the conversation. Congratulations!

SCI India
Congratulations to SCI India for winning the Pierre Cérésole Award for promotion of Human Rights! The initiative “Slum to Stadium” empowered over 900 underprivileged children to showcase their talent and spirit through football and fun activities. By promoting values of teamwork, discipline, confidence, and hope, it created unforgettable moments on and off the field. Congratulations!

SVI Mauritius
