The International Secretariat of SCI is looking for one project volunteer from Germany!

European Solidarity Corps

Where: SCI International Secretariat, Antwerp, Belgium

Period: 1 November 2025 – 31 August 2026

Title: Projects for Peace

Service Civil International (SCI) has been organising international volunteering projects for 100 years internationally, organising short-term voluntary projects (workcamps) as well as mid-term and long-term volunteering exchanges. SCI’s vision is a world of peace, social justice and sustainable development, where all people live together with mutual respect and without recourse to any form of violence to solve conflicts. SCI’s mission is to promote a culture of peace by organising international volunteering projects with local and global impact. The volunteer’s contribution will support this mission.

The project volunteers will contribute to various ongoing and future international projects, supporting logistics, communication, reporting and, if interested, project applications. The focus will be on the themes of inclusion, nonviolence, climate justice and/or antimilitarism.

Future projects will include tasks related to international activities, storytelling, and developing educational resources. They will also support the office with other projects and tasks that will arise during the placement, for example our impact assessment process and statistics.

The placement requires creativity, a keen interest in the topics of the projects, organisation, flexibility and the ability (or interest in developing as a skill) to multitask.

The participant will carry out their activities for a total of 30 hours a week and will receive 1.5 free days per month during the voluntary service.
