Konstantinos joined the IS!
Our new project volunteer!
Hello everyone!
I’m Konstantinos, the new project volunteer here at SCI’s International Secretariat. I come from the land of philosophy, olives, and political scandals, also known as Greece, and I have a great love for exploring new places and ideas. I studied social policy in Athens and later delved into cultural sociology during my master’s in Leuven, which sparked my interest in the ways people and cultures connect. I’ve spent the past few years living and working in different countries, and I’m always eager to explore more, especially with an overweight backpack on my back.My journey has been all about cultural understanding and social inclusion, which is reflected in both my academic and professional work.
Along the way, I’ve volunteered in various roles—whether supporting Brussels Pride, helping fundraisings for Palestinian families, or working with the homeless and on projects battling food waste. Each experience has deepened my commitment to a more just and peaceful world. This next year, I’m thrilled to bring this dedication to my role as the project volunteer with SCI, where I look forward to contributing to impactful projects, meeting inspiring people, and continuing my personal and professional growth.
Cheers,
Konstantinos
