Participate in a camp to build paths of social integration with people with disabilities!
The Panta Rei Cooperative runs family-style communities that house people with intellectual disabilities, with the primary goal of fostering independence and social integration. The communities are located in the Piedmont countryside, nestled among the Monferrato hills and near the major cities of Turin and Asti. Residents of the community engage in gardening, sports, and craft workshops, in addition to daily household chores. The goal of the camp is to allow residents to socialize with volunteers and participate together in the various daily activities. The project is intended as a mutual exchange of knowledge and a mutually enriching experience.
During ten days, volunteers will carry out daily activities with the guests of centers for people with intellectual disabilities like repairs work, manual laboratories, excursions, games and socialization with them.
Taking part in this project, you will have the opportunity to learn about manual activities as well as to spend time, socialize and create relationships with people with intellectual disabilities.
