Call for participants: FLOW 2026
FLOW: Facilitating, Learning, Organising, and Welcoming

- Location: Mutters (near Innsbruck), Austria
SCI Austria is excited to open applications for an in-person, 7-day training (including arrival and departure days). This activity is supported by the International Secretariat of Service Civil International (SCI) in Belgium.

This training is funded by Erasmus+ (EU) and is open to residents of the EU and neighbouring countries associated with the program.
SCI Austria is excited to open applications for FLOW, a 7-day training of trainers supported by SCI International Secretariat and funded by Erasmus+. The training is open to residents of the EU and neighbouring Erasmus+ countries.
FLOW stands for Facilitating, Learning, Organising, Welcoming. It’s designed for people who want to develop facilitation skills, explore non-formal education methods, and gain experience designing inclusive and sustainable educational projects.
During the training, participants will:
- Learn how to be an inclusive and ethical facilitator
- Explore practical tools and methods for group work and workshops
- Reflect on power, social justice, and sustainability in educational projects
- Develop a small educational project to implement later in 2026
The training will be interactive, hands-on, and fun, with movement, games, and exercises fostering empathy, safety, and collaboration. Participants will stay at a scouts centre near Innsbruck, share rooms, take part in cooking and cleaning, and enjoy vegan meals aligned with sustainability values.
Who can participate?
- Age 18+
- Interested in facilitation, project design, and non-formal education
- Able to commit to the full duration of the training
- Motivated to apply skills in SCI activities or other projects
Financial support:
- Accommodation, food, and travel costs covered (eco-friendly travel encouraged)
- Visa and other necessary expenses reimbursed after approval
