ESC Workcamp Coordination from June to September 2024 in Germany!

Become a workcamp coordinator in Germany!

Would you like to fill your summer with meaning and unique encounters? Then apply now and coordinate three workcamps from June to September in Germany! 🌞 With support by the European Solidarity Fund (ESC) SCI Germany is able to offer two European volunteers the opportunity to coordinate three workcamps in Germany with full accommodation and pocket money included!

🤝 The workcamps you are going to coordinate support local projects on nature and climate protection, on social work, for children and young people, of memorial sites or in the cultural field.

✅ If you are passionate about volunteering, between 18 and 30 years old, a citizen of a European country and have never participated in an ESC project, we invite you to apply! Knowledge of Germany and of the German language is desirable, but not required.

About the project

From June to September 2024, SCI Germany is looking for two volunteers who are well motivated to get to know our work and to coordinate three international workcamps in different locations. Our workcamps support local projects on nature and climate protection, on social work, for children and young people, of memorial sites or in the cultural field. Your voluntary service will start with a training course where we will prepare you for your tasks as a workcamp coordinator. Between the Workcamps, you will work on the follow-up of the finished workcamp and prepare the next one. For sure, you will have time to recover as well.

What they expect from you

  • high motivation for the voluntary service
  • flexibility and openness for the challenges of the project
  • experience in coordination of groups
  • experience in workcamps or voluntary work in general
  • good English necessary, any German language knowledge would be great

Conditions for applicants
The program is financially supported by the European Solidarity Fund (ESC).
Due to the conditions of the funding, you can apply

  • if you are between 18 and 30 years old,
  • if you are citizen in a European country,
  • if you did not participate in any ESC-programme before.
