We are thrilled to announce the successful completion of the E-TICK – E-t(r)ick Your Mind project, which developed a range of innovative tools to support educators, youth workers, volunteers, NGO workers and all those who want to contribute to a more just, inclusive and connected society. Key outputs include: · E-TICK 2.0 Online Course – Updated and enhanced for a more engaging learning experience. · Activity Package For Educators – Tailored for teachers and educators interested in global learning. · Activity Package for Volunteer Camp Leaders – Created for those delivering global learning workshops for volunteers. · E-tick Clubs – A handbook for hosts – A comprehensive guide for facilitators to deliver sub-activities to address the themes of the platform and the workshops on ethical communication and global learning for teachers, trainers and camp leaders. You can access all these resources on www.ethicalcommunication.org. In the age of digital media, responsible and ethical communication is more important than ever. E-TICK 2.0 is a free online course that helps individuals develop critical thinking, understand the impact of communication and improve their media literacy. The course offers interactive content such as videos, quizzes and practical assignments that guide you through eight sessions. To broaden the course’s impact, we have developed additional tools to help educators, organisations, volunteers and youth workers integrate the course material into their work with young people and other users. Both activity packs, for educators and for volunteer camp leaders, can be used independently, as you will find concrete methods to help you integrate global learning content into your work. If you are new to this content, we suggest that you take the online course first, where you get a very strong grounding in global learning and ethical communication, and then apply the content of the course to your work using the activity book. While the handbook for hosts is a very supportive tool for addressing difficult questions, E-TICK Clubs are a great way to increase participant engagement in the use of E-TICK 2.0 (the online course). E-TICK Clubs are designed to complement participation in E-TICK 2.0 by providing a space for participants to reflect and discuss E-TICK 2.0 topics with others. All tools are freely available and can be used in your own work. We believe that they will help to further improve engagement and support for individuals and communities. A big thank you goes to our incredible partners – Humanitas Association, Comhlamh, Inex-SDA and all the participants who contributed to the success of the project.
