☮️ EVENT: The many ways of peace and antimilitarism
? Online
? Thursday 21 September 2023, Peace Day
⌚️ 12:00 – 13:30 CEST (see what time it is in your city)
In this critical moment in history, where war is raging all around the world, and governments are investing (or wasting?) increasing amounts of money into their military spending, a call for peace and antimilitarism is ever more necessary.
Amidst heightened political tensions, the presence of more weaponry and a militaristic rhetoric can only increases the chances of conflict breaking out and destroying the lives of millions of people.
That is why, on the occasion of the International Peace Day, we want to come together and share ideas on peace, nonviolence and antimilitarism, starting from concrete examples of what grassroots organisations are already doing, and ending with a discussion on key topics.
